Three Haikus about Love

Two deer drink water
from the stream behind the house;
they lock eyes and flee.

A golden finch flies
home where her young children sleep
dreaming of her touch.

The flame flickers out
gathered wood to green to burn
the smoke surrounds us.

Your recent habit of posting here regularly makes my habit of checking it every day seem much less useless. The fact that you are a good writer helps too.
